As the holidays fast approach, incredible night time decorative displays are popping up everywhere and there is no better way to get into the holiday spirit than to photograph these. This month we want to focus on the beautiful atmosphere the holiday season is known for in addition to ordinary night time photography. Whether it is a quaint house in your neighborhood, the massive tree in Campus Martius, or some street photography after dark we want to see how you can create art after dark!

Gear Up: We recommend using a fast lens to take advantage of the limited light you will have access to. An aperture of f/2.8 or lower will be hugely advantageous in creating sharp, noise-free images. Experiment with tripods and shutter release cables as well!
