Printing FAQs
How long will my order take?
Print times vary depending on the size of the project. We can typically print orders in 1-3 business days. Please let us know if you have a deadline, we will do our best to accommodate you. Poster prints, larger than 12x18, are done Saturday-Wednesday. We also have a same day rush option that may be able to be applied to your order depending on size.
How long do you keep physical printed orders?
We keep physical orders for up to 60 days.
Can I email my images in for printing? No, instead use our website uploading service. (Order Here)
Regrettably, we do not accept emailed images for printing. This decision is based on several important factors that influence the quality and security of our services. Accepting images via email deviates from our standard procedures, which lacks tracking abilities and increases the potential for errors and inconsistencies. Our primary goal is to provide the best service possible, and to ensure this, we only accept images through our dedicated online ordering portal or in-store submissions.
Can you repair photographs? We can restore a digital copy of your image.
We do not offer repair services for photos, but we do provide a comprehensive restoration service. Photo restoration involves the careful process of scanning your original image and then manipulating the digital version to improve or repair any damages, such as creases, tears, or discolorations. Our goal is to help you preserve the cherished memories captured in your old photographs and provide you with a restored version that captures the essence of the original. Please feel free to inquire about our restoration service, and we will be happy to assist you in preserving your precious images.
Can you make prints from my phone? Yes.
Absolutely, we offer the convenience of printing images from your phone using our website or in-store at our kiosk. You can wirelessly upload images from your phone to our kiosk and place orders for prints. Additionally, if you prefer to have your images stored on a flash drive for other purposes, we can assist with that as well, on our in-store kiosks.
What kind of paper do you print on?
For standard prints sized 12x18 and smaller, we print on Noritsu archival photo paper, which is renowned for its high-quality results and longevity. Our archival photo paper is available in both glossy and luster finishes, allowing you to choose the option that best suits your preferences and needs.

Does someone look over the photos before printing? Yes.
We carefully examine every photo to prevent errors and ensure quality. While we make minor adjustments to color or exposure during photo, film, and slide scanning, we refrain from making any significant modifications that could compromise the authenticity of the image. If any changes are necessary, we provide consultation and editing services to help you achieve the desired result while preserving the image's integrity.
Do you print archival? Yes.
Absolutely, we exclusively provide archival image printing services. We take pride in our dedication to preserving the longevity and quality of your most cherished memories and artworks. Utilizing our state-of-the-art Noritsu Green II printer, we ensure that your archival images will benefit significantly. Our prints have significantly reduced fading compared to traditional wetlabs, safeguarding quality for generations to come.
How long is the archival period of your prints? 100 Years!
The archival period for our prints is an impressive 100 years. We are committed to delivering long-lasting, high-quality prints that can be enjoyed for generations, and this extended archival period reflects our dedication to preserving your cherished memories and artwork.
What DPI should my image be at? 300dpi with exception.
Our standard guideline suggests submitting files at 300dpi, regardless of image size, to achieve the best quality prints. Nevertheless, there can be exceptions influenced by print size and desired outcomes. In some cases, customers may opt for a slightly lower resolution in favor of a larger image, and this compromise can still result in a satisfactory outcome. The suitability of an image also hinges on its intended display location and viewing distance. For instance, a 2x3' image with slightly reduced sharpness may appear excellent when viewed from a distance of 10 feet.
Can I do a test print? Yes, limitations apply.
Absolutely, and we highly encourage it! Your satisfaction with the colors and resolution of your intended print is of the utmost importance to us. To ensure that your expectations are met, we offer the option of a test print for images larger than 12x18. These test prints include a 4-inch strip sampled from the center of the image. Your first test print is complimentary, and any additional test prints can be obtained for a nominal fee of $5. Your peace of mind with the final product are our priorities, and we are delighted to assist in achieving your desired results.
What is the largest photo that I can print?
Our largest print size is 40”x60”. But we can make custom prints up to 44”x60”+ depending on your needs.
Do you round corners on cards and prints? Yes
If you would like the corners rounded on your images or photo cards we charge 15 cents per image.
Why do wallets come in sets of two?
5” is the smallest paper that we can put through the printer so we have to print them 2 at a time.
Why is my image being cropped?
The selected size print is different from the original image ratio.
When you're printing an image, the aspect ratio plays a crucial role in determining how the image will appear on paper. The aspect ratio is the proportional relationship between the width and height of an image. If the aspect ratio of the print size is different from the aspect ratio of the original image, you won't be able to fit the entire image onto the paper without some adjustments.
